If you were a early bird like me then your probably have been around from when Google didn’t own YouTube. Those where the days weren’t they. Well now that they are all intermingled my account linkage has been messed up. My main YouTube account is linked to a dummy Google account while my screenshot YouTube account is linked to my main Google account. I’ve been trying for many hours to fix this however I have gotten no where.
Here is a picture to help you better understand the situation I am stuck in.
Now I have tried unlinking the accounts from their respectful YouTube setting pages. However every time I try to relink the account to the different Google accounts they just won’t do it. It gives me errors that the other accounts are already linked to a different Google account. This is really begging to tick me off.
Also I did make one of my accounts before May 2009 so I did try my luck at the “My Account Unlink” page, however still didn’t give me any edge to fixing my problem.
Why don’t you use a third email and put one account on it temporarily then switch the account. You obviously can not switch the two accounts at the same time. The database will not allow for multiple entries for E-Mail address’. Just work around it and outsmart the programmers. Good luck!
